We sent our Frame Stage Inspection Report to Carlisle Homes, and they agreed to rectify all of the items listed prior to plaster stage.
The only item they specifically mentioned in their response letter was Item 7, which was in relation to a gas pipe location. They stated that item 7 would be rectified in accordance with clause 13.8 in their Buidling Specifications.
We weren't too familiar with clause 13.8, so copied that page of our contract over to our inspector. He replied, saying that this clause was actually in breach of the Fair Practices Act, and that Item 7 would have to be fixed up according to his recommendations in the Inspection Report.
We have put this to Carlisle, and are hoping that they come to the party and fix things up as they are meant to.
